How to pair thermostat to smartphone

Connecting your new thermostat to Wi-Fi network is quite simple and takes just a couple minutes.

First of all make sure your smartphone is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, not 5GHz.

Locate and download "Smart Life" application in Google Play or Apple App Store.

When app is installed and first opened, it will ask you to create an account. It's not obvious, however, having an account benefits you with cloud storage and synchronization between devices within your family, allows connecting to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant etc. You should grant all permissions to access Bluetooth, Local Network, and Home Data, when app will ask you about that.

After you logged in successfully, tap "Add Device". Locate "Thermostat (Wi-Fi)" in "Small Home Appliances" section.

Double check your smartphone is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, enter your Wi-Fi password, and tap Next.

While thermostat is on, press and hold two buttons, circled below, until two icons start blinking rapidly. Make sure both icons are blinking.

Check the button "Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly" and tap "Next". App will start scanning your network. If Wi-Fi signal is strong, it will locate thermostat.

Finally you will see the confirmation that thermostat is added successfully.
